TRAIL: Walker Ranch at Placerita Canyon
LENGTH: ½ mile one way
DIFFICULTY: Extremely Easy
Walker
Meadow
DESCRIPTION: There are two trails down the hill from the Walker Ranch Trailhead. The one to the left is a service road, and the one to the right is a hiking path. Both lead down the hill to the same area where you can meet up with the Waterfall Trail, Los Pinetos Trail, and the Canyon Trail. (See the description of each of these trails, listed separately). Total distance of your hike will depend on which options you choose. Or, if you are having a nice, lazy summer day, take the Walker Ranch Trailhead to the bottom, have a picnic with your family at the picnic area, and return the ½ mile back up the trail to the road.

HOW TO GET TO THE TRAILHEAD: Exit SR 14 at Placerita Cyn Rd. If you’re coming from the South, turn Right. If you’re coming from the North, turn left onto Placerita Canyon Road. Then, turn right into a turnout marked with a wooden “WALKER RANCH TRAILHEAD” sign on your right, approximately 3.5 miles from Hwy 14.
