TRAIL: Seven Mile Trail
LENGTH: 7.5 Miles
DIFFICULTY: Difficult and Strenuous

 

DESCRIPTION: This trail begins at the Main Trailhead at Placerita Nature Center. Begin up the Manzanita Trail to the firebreak, left on the firebreak road to the Los Pinetos Trail, left on the Los Pinetos trail to Walker Ranch, and left again on the Canyon Trail to return to the trail head. This trail is hot and dry, and recommended for fall, winter and spring only. Be sure to pack lunch, snacks, plenty of water, sunscreen, hat, etc for a long, hard, dry hike.

HOW TO GET TO THE TRAILHEAD: Exit Hwy 14 at Placerita Cyn Rd. If you’re coming from the South, turn Right. If you’re coming from the North, turn Left on Placerita Canyon Road. Turn Right into Placerita Canyon Natural Area (marked by a wooden sign). Park. Trailhead is to the right of the building.
